Dear Ride 2 Freedom Riders,
It is an honor to offer my support to you and to the Ride 2 Freedom bicycle ride which focuses on awareness and education for International Children’s Day on June 1, 2015. Your passion for this cause and willingness to ride 3,000 miles is extraordinary.
I commend Ride 2 Freedom as an incredible human rights initiative led by teenagers to illuminate the persecution occurring across the globe and affects children and families daily. Ride 2 Freedom seeks to raise international support to end persecution against children and rescue children who are victimized.
Salt Lake City is fortunate to welcome Ride 2 Freedom cyclists into our City. We value, honor and protect the human rights of every individual in our City and especially our children. I wish you the best of luck on your journey across the country and thank you for your incredible efforts on behalf of those who are not able to advocate for themselves.
